Service Description
A wreck diver course is designed to teach divers the specialized skills and knowledge required to safely explore underwater shipwrecks. The course typically involves a combination of classroom instruction and open water dives. Some of the topics covered during a wreck diver course and include: - Diving equipment specific to wreck diving, such as lights and reels - Techniques for navigating and exploring wrecks - Safety protocols for diving in confined spaces and around potentially hazardous materials - Methods for identifying and documenting shipwrecks - Principles of underwater photography and videography as they relate to wreck diving - Environmental considerations and conservation efforts related to preserving wrecks Participants in a wreck diver course should have a solid foundation of basic diving skills, and may need to complete an advanced open water course or equivalent as a prerequisite. The course may also require a certain number of logged dives and other experience requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, divers will receive a certification card. With this training and knowledge, they can explore historical and archaeological treasures of the underwater world with greater safety and confidence.
