The course covers topics such as dive planning, gas management, emergency procedures, and equipment configuration for solo diving. During the course, divers will learn how to properly analyze and plan dives to ensure they have enough gas to safely complete the dive and handle any unexpected situations that may arise. They will also learn how to properly use their equipment to ensure they are comfortable and competent while diving alone. The self-sufficient diver course is an advanced level course and requires divers to have a certain level of experience and certification before enrolling. The course is typically taught over several days and includes both classroom and practical sessions. Upon completion, divers will be certified as a self-sufficient diver and can enjoy the freedom and independence of diving alone.
