The Nitrox instructor course is a program designed to train and certify dive professionals to teach students how to use enriched air nitrox (EANx) for recreational diving. The course covers topics such as: - Physiology and physics of nitrox diving - Equipment requirements and preparation - Dive planning, analysis and management - Oxygen exposure and safety considerations - Teaching techniques, instructional methods and effective communication strategies To enroll in a Nitrox instructor course, candidates must have a minimum of 25 logged dives, be certified as a Nitrox diver, and hold a professional diving qualification such as a Divemaster or Instructor certification. Upon completion of the course, candidates will be qualified to teach Nitrox courses at the basic level, and will be able to issue certifications to their students.
