The Complex Navigation Diver course is designed for experienced divers who are looking to enhance and improve their navigation skills. This course will enable divers to navigate more effectively over longer distances and in more challenging diving conditions. The course covers a range of topics including: 1. Navigation basics - understanding how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques. 2. Advanced navigation techniques - compass navigation with a buddy, underwater map reading, and distance estimation. 3. Techniques for diving in disorientating conditions such as strong currents or low visibility. 4. Dive planning and preparation - including dive site selection and safety procedures. 5. Emergency procedures - effective ways to respond to an emergency in low visibility conditions. Completing the Complex Navigation Diver course will give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to navigate successfully on more challenging dives.
