Service Description

The Advanced Nitrox Instructor course is designed for scuba diving instructors who want to teach divers how to use enriched air nitrox (EANx) to extend their dive time and increase their safety margins while diving within recreational depth limits. This course builds on the knowledge and skills developed in the Nitrox Diver and Enriched Air Nitrox Diver courses, providing additional training on analyzing, labeling, and handling EANx tanks, as well as developing teaching techniques for introducing the use of EANx to new divers. To participate in the Advanced Nitrox Instructor course, instructors must have a Open Water Instructor or an equivalent certification from a recognized dive training organization, as well as a Nitrox Instructor certification. The course typically includes classroom sessions, practical exercises, and teaching evaluation, preparing instructors to teach their own Advanced Nitrox courses and help divers safely and confidently use enriched air nitrox to enhance their diving experience.
