The advanced nitrox course is the next level of training after the basic nitrox course. It focuses on training divers to safely dive with enriched air nitrox blends between 22% and 40% oxygen. The main objective of this course is to teach divers how to safely plan and execute dives using nitrox blends beyond the limitations of standard recreational diving. Topics covered in this course include: - Physics and physiology of falling oxygen levels - Dive planning and execution with nitrox blends - Managing oxygen exposure through gas analysis and monitoring - Advanced decompression techniques using nitrox - Proper use of specialized dive equipment and redundancy To enroll in the advanced nitrox course, divers must already hold a basic nitrox certification or an equivalent certification from a recognized training agency. Additionally, divers must have logged a minimum number of dives and meet specific age and dive experience requirements.
